Table Tennis

On Thursday 7th December, PEPS traveled to Ormesby Table Tennis club to compete in the Middlesbrough schools competition. The pupils involved were: Charlotte, Kennedy, Amelia, Ebony, Mackenzie, Kai, Kian and Tyler.

The pupils had practiced really hard up until the competition so they were extremely excited to represent the school. After playing 4 group games, we progressed onto the semi final which was a massive confidence boost to all of our pupils. They showed great determination and resilience throughout the group stage.

We came up against Beechgrove in the semi final and we knew they were going to be a tough opponents. Unfortunately we lost the game 6-2 in matches, which placed us in the 3rd/4th play off against Pallister Park and we lost that match as well. Overall we came 4th out of 16 schools, which was a great achievement for Park End.

Mr Tapner was really proud of everyone!
