The team consisted of 36 year 5 and 6 children, both boys and girls. The competition was held for the first time at Middlesbrough’s brand new sports village. The facilities were fantastic and the children thoroughly enjoyed the day. The children’s performances were outstanding, with every team member showing excellent team spirit.

Park End left the competition with a whopping 13 medals. Those included:

Mackenzie – Gold in long jump and 60 metre sprint

Faith – Bronze in howler throw

Megan – Silver in howler throw and bronze in 60 metre sprint

Dillon – Gold in howler throw

Tye – Silver in 55 metre hurdles and silver in long jump

Analise – Bronze in chest push

Jack – Gold in chest push

Lewis – Bronze in 800 metre run
