Girls Cricket

On Friday 27th May, the girls cricket team competed in an all girls cricket competition at Middlesbrough Cricket Club. The team included Imarni , Chelsea , Madison , Kizzy , Faith , Megan , Leah  and Leonie.

All together they were 12 schools that entered into the competition. We were drawn into a group that included Acklam Whin, St. Edwards and Pennyman. We won two and lost one in the group stage which qualified us to progress onto the next round of the competition by coming second. Unfortunately we narrowly got beat in the next round by Pallister Park by 5 runs however by beating Pennyman in the next round of matches resulted Park End grabbing 4th place.

The girls displayed some fantastic skill and great determination regarding their over arm bowling. Special mention to Leonie, Faith  and Megan for some outstanding batting on the day!
