Girls Tag Rugby

On Friday 14th October, the girls tag rugby team represented PEPS in another Middlesbrough schools cluster event at the Southlands centre. The pupils that went were Leah, Leonie, Lois, Kezia, Amelia, Charlotte, Katie, Elissa and Kennedy.

For the first initial group stage we played Marton Manor and Corpus Christi who we both beat. Which then placed us in another group with Berwick Hills and St. Edwards. We beat Berwick Hills 8-6 and lost against St. Edwards 3-2. These results however got us through to the Semi- Finals against Pallister Park. This game was an extremely well contested game with some superb rugby played all round however Pallister Park just sneaked a 6-5 victory.

The girls played some outstanding rugby all afternoon showing superb team work and excellent knowledge of the game.

Mr Lovatt and Mrs Weatherly were extremely proud of the girls!
