Table tennis competition

On Friday 4th December 2015 8 children represented Park End Primary in the Middlesbrough table tennis event held at Ormesby Table Tennis club. The team was made up of 4 girls (Faith, Megan, Chelsea and Alice) and 4 boys (Taylor, Matthew, Rio and Joseph). The team started in a group with Newham Bridge and Lingfield. We went onto win our game against Newham Bridge but lost to a very talented Lingfield team. This meant we entered the plate competition in the semi-final against St Josephs, which we went onto win 6-2 overall. We then progressed into the final against Pallister Park B, with some great table tennis played by both teams we came out equal on matches won and amount of games won which saw us share the cup with Pallister Park. Behaviour, attitude and team work was fantastic by all 8 children. Mr Storey and Mr Lovatt were really pleased with the efforts of the children, well done!!
