Tees Valley Championships

Three of our pupils qualified from the Schools Athletics Championships to represent the Middlesbrough district at the Tees Valley Championships on Tuesday 21st June at the Sports Village. The Middlesbrough district was made up of numerous children who qualified in events that occurred at the Athletics a week previously. There was a total of 7 districts at the event as a result the talent and the standard of the athletes was extremely high. The children were overjoyed to have had qualified and were really looking forward to taking on the challenge within their chosen event. The results for our pupils are as followed:

Owen – Hurldes (Bronze) and Relay Team (Silver)

Faith – Howler Throw (Silver)

Leah – Running Long Jump (Bronze) and Relay Team (Gold)

The children deserve a huge recognition for not only qualifying for Tees Valley but claiming a medal is an outstanding sporting achievement. Everyone at Park End is extremely proud of them.
