Y5/6 Tag Rugby

On Thursday 13th October, PEPS entered into a tag rugby cluster event at Middlesbrough College. The pupils that represented our school were Callum, Kenzie, Ellis, Jordan, Lennon, Leonie Mulraney, Leah and Charlotte.

Group matches were played on the morning and then on the afternoon you were placed in a group with teams of similar ability. On the morning we were drawn against Marton Manor, St. Thomas Moore, Newport, Rosewood and St. Alphonsus. We had a superb morning the pupils played some outstanding rugby and finished unbeaten in the group.

That placed us in a very competitive group on the afternoon. We beat Berwick Hills and Kader. Drew against Whinney Banks and lost against St. Edwards and Pennyman. The team showed great support play, excellent defending and scored some superb tries. The pupils were extremely well behaved all day and represented the school in a fantastic fashion.

Mr Storey and Mr Holmes were very proud of the team!
