Attendance at school
At Park End Primary School we promote good attendance to enable pupils to take full advantage of the educational opportunities we offer.
We understand that, in rare occasions, children are too unwell to come to school. We ask that you ring and let us know if your child is poorly so we can offer advice and support. We expect children who are absent with illness to return to school as soon as they are well enough to do so.
Infectious disease
Not all infectious diseases require children to have time off school. Other infectious diseases have specific time scales set by Public Health England for when children can return to school. Please see the below quick guide poster:
