Beverley Park – Outreach
At Beverley Park, we believe that inclusion is everyone’s responsibility. Our Outreach Service has been developed to extend the specialist knowledge, expertise and experience within Beverley Park beyond our own setting, supporting schools across Middlesbrough to develop confident practitioners, inclusive classrooms and sustainable approaches that improve outcomes for children and young people.
Our work is built upon partnership rather than dependency. We recognise that every school has its own strengths and understanding of its community and our role is to work alongside leaders, SENDCOs and school staff to identify practical, evidence-informed strategies that remove barriers to learning and strengthen inclusive practice. By sharing expertise, coaching practitioners and building capacity within school, we help create lasting improvements that continue long after our direct involvement has ended.
Whether supporting an individual pupil, developing specialist provision or strengthening whole school systems, our focus is always the same – to ensure every child has the opportunity to belong, participate and thrive.
Our Outreach Offer
Observation and Individual Pupil Support
We undertake detailed observations within school settings to gain a thorough understanding of each child’s strengths, needs and barriers to learning. Working collaboratively with school staff, we provide practical recommendations and personalised strategies that promote successful inclusion and positive outcomes.
Autism and Specialist Provision
Our specialist team supports schools in developing autism informed practice, considering environmental adaptations, sensory needs and approaches that enable autistic pupils to access learning successfully. We also support schools establishing specialist bases through advice on systems, structures and specialist provision.
Emotional Wellbeing, Behaviour and Inclusion
We believe that behaviour is communication. Our outreach team supports schools to develop positive relationships, co-regulation strategies and emotionally responsive practice that promotes engagement, belonging and successful inclusion for every child.
SEND Systems and Processes
We work alongside school leaders and SENDCOs to strengthen SEND systems and processes including:
- EHCP advice and reports
- School Support Plans
- Provision mapping
- Target setting
- Deployment of support staff

Curriculum Design and Professional Development
Through coaching, instructional development and collaborative planning, we support schools to design ambitious, inclusive curricula that meets the needs of all learners. Our work focuses on adaptive teaching, curriculum planning, access points to learning and developing confident practitioners who can remove barriers without lowering expectations.
