Learning and Language Team

The team consists of a number of Specialist Teachers who are qualified to complete assessments looking at areas of strengths and weaknesses of the child as well as how best to support the child in school with reading, spelling and writing. We also deliver specialist teaching programmes to learners with SEND / Dyslexia and training to schools. All teachers are also qualified Dyslexia assessors and can also formally assess and make recommendations for exam concessions.

Lindsey Jessop

Lindsey is a Specialist Teacher and Assessor who is an Associated Member of the British Dyslexia Association and holds a current Assessment Practicing Certificate. She has a range of experience working across schools at both primary and secondary schools across Middlesbrough and Teesside. She is a former secondary teacher and SENDCO.
